Hello All, Thanks in advance to any information you can provide... I have a Cub cadet 50" zforce ( 2008 ).. I had just purchased this used and everything was working as it should a month ago.. Tonight I tried starting it, however I couldnt get it to turn over.. All of the safety features were engaged correctly- but it wont turn over.. HAd Gas, it would make a noise when the key was turn, but nothing more.. Help.. Possible issues.?

Corroded battery cable connection, loose or corroded ground to frame or engine, several scenarios.

Blown fuse, blade switch, brake switch, starter solenoid, seat switch, key switch,
Not enough info to narrow the problem.
Did you talk to it nicely?

There's nothing wrong with talking to mowers.
Over the years I've had a few customers walk in while I was diagnosing a mower and thinking out loud.
They always ask me if I was talking to the mower. I give them a puzzled look and tell them.
You'd talk to them too if they'd listen.
Not the stuff of legends, but it seems to work.
