I operate in Minnesota and was wondering if these new curbing machines I see advertised in the trade mags would work here. Would frost heave break up the curbing. Also has anyone used them and how well do they work.
Yes. These are not cool season area pieces of equipment. As nice as it would be, it's just not practicle. The one thing they would work for, is doing segments. You can use them, as long as you do short pieces, so they can flex when the ground heaves. This is similar to the concept of all the pre-made ones you can buy. For the cost factor, it is more feasible for us to go with the pre-made.
