Wondering what options have been found for building a custom blend for company use.

I'm pretty picky on cultivars, and I realize options are available at local ag/turf supplies..just curious if any have ventured for their own blend and where to start.

Would suit your situation.
No need to choose the seeds you want in your blend...let the professionals do that part.
You just need a blend suitable for your climate.
Maybe --extra toughness for athletic fields.
Maybe more bluegrass if the customer needs self-repair with rhizomes.

It's in the Twin Cities, MN so it mainly offers cool season grasses (Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescues, Ryes). It lists its offerings clearly and has many blends (different strains of same type of grass) & mixes (different types of grasses). I believe the company makes the blends & mixes itself, based on NTEP evaluations. One could easily create a custom blend or mix by purchasing whatever one desired.

NOTE: use this as an example. Always best to look at LOCAL experts for what seeds work best for one's area.
