I've got a big time P.I.T.A. customer who is a habitual late payer. Anyhow, as the season wraps up here, she emails me today saying that she noticed two days ago her hose had been left on the slightest bit and now her basement has taken on water. She sent pictures backing up her claim. She didn't implicitly request any form of restitution, but I think that is the direction it's headed. Anyhow, I have no way to prove whether it was or wasn't my business who is to blame. How would you handle this? Thanks in advance.
