Any body here cutting sports field, baseball, football and/or soccer? That seems like an interesting nich if you had the right equipment. Now, what is the right equipment? Through this site I heard and later bought a book about striping ball fields. Got it at Half price books for $7 instead of $24. Neat book and now I'm thinking about how to approach that biz. Whats the concenses out there?

Ive done lots of baseball fields...Used my Dixie Chopper, just little leauge fields and public softball...the DC striped pretty good, nothing like what you see on TV....If you spend to much time doing fancy striping I make less money....but it would be fun to try it out

For the professional ball field look you will need to get into reel mowers. They are quite expensive so that will be a big commitment. A freshly stripped field sure does look great.
