The guy who cuts my neighbors yard uses a 72" (way overkill) but he like does one pass then comes back halfway through it so that like his stripes are only 36" wide and he does it the whole way down the yard and he is essentially double cutting it, does anybody here do it like that??

i go over the edge of the last stripe maybe 4-6 inches, sometimes less, since i have the mulch kit and it helps give a bettter cut. just my 2 cents.

I do that if I am seriously having troubles cutting it clean in one pass.

I do that all the time. Cleans up whatever the left side of deck misses.
