I would like to know what everyone thinks that each crew should be profiting each day or each week. for example I like for each crew to bring in $1000 profit each week whether its mowing and/or landscaping. I have 2 guys mowing 3 days a week bringing in $1000 profit each week and another crew of 3 guys mowing 4 days a week bringing in another $1300 profit each week after all expenses. Of course the other days remaining we are landscaping and/or doing our 12 commercial accounts that are not included in the above numbers. When we do landscaping with 3 guys I dont think its worth it unless we are clearing $500 a day in profit for landscaping. $500 a day seems a bit steep for mowing since I am netting $250-$450 a day in mowing profit after all expenses. I guess my question is are these numbers and goals good? and what are other people doing? Thanks
