Exmark dealer won't budge on what he calls "promo" prices

$2600 for the 36inch kawa w/Ecs and $2800 for the 48 inch...

i guess i might just have to buy the darn machine...i just hate knowing that I am paying more than the average "joe" just because the market I'm in...i feel like i'm getting charged over $200 more than what everyone on this board says i should be paying

Just buy the mower already! You're going to make that little bit of money back many, many, many times over.

I sold a 50" Gravely and bought a 60" Dixie. The price difference was almost $7,000 but the Dixie is worth every single penny. In the 2-1/2 years I've had the Dixie it has increased my production over $7,000 each year compared to the Gravely production.

Screw that. $600.00 is enough to say" NO THANKS, I'll buy from a dealer who is willing to work with me, not screw me." The guy is going to make a $800.00 profit, at least. Not much business sense in thinking, Oh well, I'll make up for it later. Make up for it now, by buying form a dealer who isn't out to make every red cent he can from you. I saved over $500.00 by traveling 20 minutes away, and let my local dealer know that he lost my sale, my parts, my maintenance, and everything else lawncare that I would normaly buy there. Guess what? If he gets a couple of more people saying the same thing to him, he'll LOWER his prices, or go out of business. It's your money, though, do what you want.
