If you had one choice, what size deck would you get?
In a perfect world I would get a 72'' so I would be finished faster. But since it's not perfect I have a 33'' 48'' and a 60''.
I have 2 52s and a 61. 52s are nice because the 61 won't fit everywhere
i have 2-60 n 1-48...looking into a 72in for nxt yr. but overall 60in r prob better they will fit in most places and there a decent size.
Bump Bump Bump
get a 54
I like having a full truck of different sizes to get the best size for the yard.
If I had only ONE, it would be 36". I have a lot of resi with 40" gates.
It seems that a 52"-56" deck size is the "Sweet Spot" for cut quality and typical available horsepower. IMHO a 52" will cut nicer in more situations than a 60" all things being equal. There's not a lot lost from a 60" in productivity but an advantage gained in accessibility with the smaller deck size. Bigger is not always better for a man and his equipment ....
Tight in my area, 33's are the bomb!
