Anyone have a scale for pricing a staining job for decks?
one gallon of olympic covers approx 150-250sqft of rough wood and 250-350sq feet of smooth wood at $20 a gallon figure it out. is this deck new or old and weathered? quick and easy buy a sprayer they are cheap and will pay for itself.
also make sure to fully seal any cuts in the wood. even though it say pt the treatment doesnt make it all the way into the wood so if you dont stain the top of a post i can guarentee you it will rot
