I am in need of a bagger for my 60" 757. What are the available baggers? I am looking at the Peco vac and the Deere brand. I do not want a dump from the seat style. There must be other brands out there.

I have a deere model on my 757 that has three bags that you manually have to empty. It works pretty good. The dump from the seat deere model on my 777 is awesome though. How come you don't want one like that.

I have have found that I get the best results from a bagger if the bagger is the one offered from your mower's manufacturer. I would go with the deere. The deere's MCS was designed to be used on their mowers and perform well with their mowers. So I would go with the Deere brand.

It seems that the 3 bag model would be easier to empty into the dump truck versus having to dump on flatbed trailer or groung then pick up again to put into truck. Maybe there is an easier way to use the dump from seat.

Not to high jack your thread but I'm also interested on Deere's 3 bagging system. Would like to hear peoples likes and dislikes on the systems. Does anyone have pictures of these units installed? How wide is the total mower and bagger on a 60 inch deck?

The 3 bag setup required a trailer with a 6'10" to easily fit. The clamshell dump is about an inch wider.

I like the 3 bag setup a lot. Its simple, light and easy to take on and off. It is made out of all plastic so mine is pretty beat up after 6 years of use. It does creat a lot of dust.

The clamshell is a lot more heavy duty, made more steel components, performs much better but also has its cons. Once its on you won't want to take it off for a while. Its just too heavy. Also the design of the shute is poor. It catches on the ground frequently and I've needed to repair mine several times. Overall it works awesome though.

JCPM do you have any pictures of both units. I'm hoping I can get a 60 with the bagger on my little 7x12 trailer
I fit mine on my 6.5(I think maybe 7)X12 Trailer with a 36 walkbehind, I have to back it on now but it works. The blower doesn't add much width, about the same as the chute deflector. I have the 3 bag system and love it, its a little narrower on each side of the machine so you dont catch on anything. The biggest upside to the 3 bag system is that you can pull them off and throw it in the bed of the truck, with the dump from the seat you always have to have a spot to dump it at. They both hold the same amount 14 bushels. The other thing about the 3 bag system is it comes off in minutes, 2 pins on the blower, quick release belt tensioner, pull the chute, take the bags off, and step on the hook of the plastic part of the bagger and it falls downward about 40lbs just awkward and your set. Mines all apart in storage and wont be out for a few weeks, its been nice in maine lately but not that nice. Ive got a few pics of it on my trailer in my pic thread.

I'm hoping that my new deere with the blower on it for the bagger will fit on my trailer. My trailer is only 6' wide so it'll be tight, 54" deck plus a blower...that could be tricky.
I really like bagger set up for the newer ones with the plastic tube being able to seperate at each side, because i can get some blowback through the tube chute hole, which has been fixed on the new set up. Thats sweet you got the mod and the bagger, I would probably do the same.
Good luck with that trailer, if it fits it gonna be real tight, who knows maybe i have a 6, i bought it a few years ago and didn't care after mine fit on it. I really want a 14 foot now, but ill have to wait till i get a new truck and see how the year goes.

I was just glad that I could get the MOD and the bagger and not have to change anything to run them both.

And I'm praying that it fits on the trailer, otherwise I'll probably be going trailer shopping, and I really don't want to spend too much money more this year. I've got 72" to work with on the trailer so if the blower adds about 12"-14" on to the mower width, I should be okay...but who knows.

Well that's good to hear most are happy with the Deere bagger. You can only get the Peco unit with the dump from seat. They have also upgraded several things on the new units for the 900 series.
