Deere at Home Depot Update

    I talked to the John Deere dealer today. The one thats a mile away , that I mentioned in the first thread. He told me that their assembling the tractors for Home Depot. I said isn't that like cutting your own throat? He said not really. The tractors that their assembing for Home Depot, are models that they (the deere dealer) only make about $100 profit on. However, their charging Home Depot $55 per tractor to assemble.

    Atleast that takes some of the bite out of it for the dealers. I first saw these L100's at a Deere dealer. So they have access to sell them as well. The dealer price is competitive with Home Depot's price too.
