Im looking into trying to pick up some property, (rent at this time). Mainly to help store equipment and such, but I would also like to set up an office, and even some display demos for the stone work we do. I realise location is important, but Im just wondering what I can expect with regards to picking up additional work. Our customers looking for general lawn care, and some minor landscaping work come from referrals, phone book, internet, and occassional flyers. So I dont expect to pick up much if any additional lawn care from having an actual storefront so to speak. What I am looking to gain from this is to pick up hardscape work. I have several ideas for displays which will be seen from the road to capture passer byes attention. But does it really help? can I expect to pick up a fair amount of work from walk ins? or am I just being over zelous?
