I've looked at the web site and can't see any difference from the specs. Can anyone enlighten me?

I looked at a different model number Kaw but the KAI model had the bigger canister air filter.

the kai engine is a newer engine they had many many many problems with the fh engines when they first came out this is what they call the new generation engine

The only difference is the air filter. The regular 430 has the filter on the front...similar to the 451/500 but not the same. The 430 KAI has the KAI style air filter up on top.

My way of looking at it is any 381/430 is a KAI engine...but it just may not have the KAI air filter.

I was just looking there...I have no idea what the 411 and 480 are. They are bigger at 472cc but small on power...unless those are typos...
