We consider digital scales more accurate than the "plastic scoops" that are supplied by manufacturers of powdered pesticides. We currently use a Pitney-Bowes digital scale. Suggestion: Keep digital scales in a safe place. They are a hot item for "tweakers"......last one we had was ripped off by a former employee.

    Anybody digitasl scales? rscvp, thanks

    Ohaus digital.

Our Cub Scout Pack had one for Pinewood Derby cars. I liked it so much I bought two; one for our build workshops & another for my pesticide cabinet.

I will probably buy a nicer set than I have right now but I had to have a set quick to weigh my Prodiamine this year. I bought a berkely fish scale in sporting goods section. It has a stainless steel hook. I hung the bucket from the hook, turn it on and it is automatically zeroed. Worked great and cheap(about $20). Got me through a pinch this Spring.

I've got one. Also for Prodiamine, like Ted. Just a cheapo digital postage scale that can only handle up to 3.5# ...

I got 2. One that weighs up to 2 lbs for fertilizers and a 50g X 0.1g for metsulfuron and other low rate herbicides. You are right about the tweakers. The only other people who even have this kind of equipment around here are the crackheads.
