hello there, i sure hope someone can help. i have an sl1600 and all of a sudden the display is blinking 0 zones. was told the module was bad. bought another one and still flashing 0 zones. any info is greatly appreciated. i have 7 ball fields to water and this is starting to bug me little. thanks.

I'll check the version when I get to work. I have cut power off at breaker and pulled battery out and hit reset button. Changed module and tried again. Just keeps flashing 0 zones. Weird

weathermatic sl1600 version 1.08. hope this helps give an answer. i was wanting to spray all my lips this week but i cant until the controller reads the zones. it was working fine month ago. been a very wet winter so havent had to use it. very confusing. :wall

For the good of your customer, yank the whole thing out, replace it, and have the supplier warranty it. You'll get the system operational a lot faster this way, than mickey mousing around trying to get it to work.

there is only a 3 year warranty. pretty sure this system been here since the fields were built 6 years ago. ill go ahead and replace it though. was just hoping something simple was causing this. everywhere i read said 0 zones flashing is very rare. also said the module would be bad but thats not the case unless the new module was bad too. hehe. thanks guys.

Same with us, I thought it was only a few years ago when it came out. Could he have one of the "high end" W*M clocks that were also called a "SL"?

If possible, we'd still like to know the outcome. Maybe troubleshoot it with someone at the supply house or someone more familiar with that model. We know the solution - replace it. But we'd still like to know the problem.

Yup, I've never seen any clock do that; usually it's a blank screen or a bunch of code that means ziltch.

I've seen old Irritrol displays that looked like Klingon sometimes.

manufactures tend to ship in bulk, i'd call the mfg with the ser.no. and ask them about problems in your zip or area code.

this is how i got a motherboard replaced last year.
