im having problems with one of our back up mowers its an 04 i think sp2800 60' and the charge wire from the engine to the battery keeps blowing fuses and killing the battery. cant figure it out but we charge the battery back up and put a new fuse in and it runs good...for a while. any ideas?

Unplug the ignition switch and check for any rust corrosion inside the connector or on the "B" battery post. Also check the battery cable on the starter solenoid for rust corrosion, It sounds like a bad connection.

    Good Luck
