Dixon ZTR drive belt question

    Hi folks
I have a Dixon RAM44 MAG (2005 model) for home use. As well as mowing, it is used for towing a small shredder or a small yard trailer for transporting firewood.
I find that sometimes when towing uphill, I get a sort of "growling" noise.
I do not load the trailer heavily and the hill is not very steep so I very much doubt if I am overloading anything unduly.

I have found that the belt which drives the axles is surprisingly loose. Is this normal? The belt is only tensioned by a spring loaded pulley so no adjustment is possible apart from fitting a shorter belt. The belt feels like it is about due for replacement anyway. According to the Operator's Manual, the belt is P/N 16108.

Does anybody know the industry standard (section and length) designation for this belt?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
