Do you have your valves adjusted on your zero's?

I had my dealer recommend that I have my valves adjusted on my John Deere 737, 54", 1100 hrs. Just wanted to see if anyone else did this, I had never heard of it? Still runs great.

I never have done anything other than sharpen blades, apply grease, and change the oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs. That's all easy stuff. Anything else I don't know how to do so I don't do it.

Should of been done awhile ago with 1100 hrs. They actually just check them and adjust if needed.

I didn't look at the video but it's usually about a 15 minute job. You may need new valve cover gaskets I just use rtv sealant.
Yeah its super simple with a feeler gauge, just make sure you're adjusting each valve completely closed taking the tension off....

I normally change my oil with the engine warm. Adjust the valves with it cold. Takes forever to let the engine cool or let cold oil drain.
