I was just thinking how much tome I spend removing downspouts and replacing them, and thinking I may save time by mowing around them and trimming near them instead, what do you do?

You do mean splash blocks NOT the actual downspouts don't you? Splash blocks, I just mow around then trim.

No, the actual spouts, I have one account where they have a lot of landscaping in front of the house so they leave the extenders on all the time since they are mostly hidden and the end goes about 2-3 feet into the yard. I used to take them off and replace without even thinking but now I think I will give it a try mowing around.

I move 'em and mow...then replace when're going by there again anyway.

    Looks WAY nicer.
