I have the super z with 66" and I would call the 28 "adequate" That should answer your ?'s From what I've heard, not a big dif. going to the 30-carb.. Just higher fuel costs..

    Oh, they've sold them.

Probably not their most popular deck size though.

I would have to say that none of their current engine choices would properly power a SuperZ with a 72" deck.

Hustler DESPERATLY needs to look into other power plants.

Generac or Vanguard is your only choice for VS 900+cc engines right now.

Im kinda feeling the same way. Its hard to buy a 72 with a 28 or 30hp motor when there are many other brands offering the 35 hp briggs LC or AC, and the Generac 33. I would love to see a Hustler with the 35hp LC Briggs. Scag and Ferris offer it.

We have a local golf course who bought this exact unit to cut their empty lots in their community and power has never been a complaint.

Our problem is they basically pressure wash the machine after each use.... killing us on bearings.... they refuse to stop washing the machine....

As far as power they love it and are have since bought a super miniz for some smaller areas.....

    Key word being GOLF COURSE.

NOTHING on a golf course is EVER overgrown.
