Ive got an Stihl extended/pole hedge trimmer and I dont like laying it in the floorboard of my trailer. Im a neat freak when it comes to organization and it urks me to have something just sitting there. Does anyone have a suggestion for what to do with these odd handheld tools? its too short to fit into a trimmer rack or else i would just buy another set for the other side and mount it up. now that im actually thinking about it, I wonder if Green touch would be able to do something custom where i could get a single trimmer rack locking mechanism for the engine end, and a basic single trimmer rack for the blade side. that would actually work really well but I doubt they would do that. maybe ill make a call and see what they say! in the mean time does anyone else have a suggestion for what they do with theirs? thanks in advance.

You can buy trimmer racks that are 2 individual pieces and just mount them how you need them.

I have the same problem. I think I will just get an extra set of the Xtreme racks and use them just for my Hedge trimmers. Just bolt them on the trailer closer together. I ordered my last 4 place set up directly from Xtreme and used the lawnsite code to get a discount.

I called green touch to see if they would just sell the locking rack piece and then a single generics trimmer rack piece. That would work perfect. There's about 3" of shaft available to clamp on the locking block but the generic style rack would be perfect for supporting the blade end of the machine. I bet they have them sitting around and don't even care to help out.

You could use the single mounts that are meant for z-turns or for servicing trimmers, you know the clamping kind that mount to a bench or something, just a thought.
