I use a kodiak c7500. truck weighs 16.5k empty + a 9k trailer. I average around 9mpg loaded. unloaded and w/o the trailer I get about 14mpg. c7 cat and 10speed eaton fuller.
That's really good! Probably has a lot to do with the 10 speed to get such good mileage.

I haven't seen many F650's on the road in a LONG while, more or less people are buying smaller trucks and going over their respective weight ratings to save on initial cost.

When I worked for someone they had f650's with cat engines what a dog.... I could hook up to the same trailer with the 550 6.0 and out run it. I'd get a International with a dt466 if I were in your shoes very strong engine for pulling compared to the cats in the fords. Maybe they come with different engines two??? f650 got about 3-5 mpg we used the pto a lot so it wouldn't be accurate for just driving.
