pgh,s pissing me off , I 20 12" cost too much , does RB make a 12" 5000?
All high-pops cost too much. You think you'll get a break from Rainbird? What are the current issues with the PGH?
seals leaking right out of the box, 1 out of 3 have been junk.
Any customer support on this? What mfr dates?
07, local Hunter rep looking into it.
Hmmmm, you'd think they'd have a handle on 07 flaws by now. One could see possible seal issues if they try to incorporate features that Rainbird had patent protection on.
Yup, I'm pretty impressed with this head, get the + version w/shut-off.
Just came from RB day at local distributer, saw them on a tear sheet there. When I asked price they said" probaly a couple bucks cheaper then a pgh"
RB makes a cool matched precipitation nozzle for the 5000+ so you can use
90s & 180s, etc., in the same zone. I thought they had too much front load
when we put them in, but my moisture meter says they work very evenly.
I have on my 100 things before I die list a trip to your peninsula for a lesson on the Leary moisture meter technique.
