Posted this over in the commercial forum, but no replies. Thought I would try here.

Toro 52" hydro, about 7 years old, 1800 hrs, 15hp kohler, asking $1000. I plan to look at it this afternoon. Thanks for input!

I just bought a Toro 52" Hydro (also 15HP kohler) in pristine condition with 290 hrs. I paid 1800. I thought it was a good deal but I have no idea if it was or not. I wish it had a 20HP so I could run doubles with high lifts, though.

can someone tell me why they have t-bar toro walk-behinds that are HYDRO. why didn't they continue making them instead of the pistol grip or stupid belt drive(w/t-bar). i dont get it. are they easy to use/ operate with easy forwards and backwards. thanks to anyone who responds to this.

Toro still is making them just as a modified T-Bar style. They stopped making the hydro for a few years because people were complaining how sensitive they were and sometimes jerky to the untrained opperator.

2001 with 1800 hours all put on by a homeowner who only used it to cut his grass:laugh::laugh::laugh: he must have one hell of a lawn to be putting on 300 hours a year. i smell something rotten on this deal but all in all price is neither good or bad its fair. but be prepared to fork out some cash soon to replace that motor i dought it will go much further but you never know.
