Doesn't this make more sense than sending a guy climbing up a tree?

That's a nice set up for sure, only problem is that amount of money to buy all the equipment, up keep, and insurance. You would have to be booked year round with top paying jobs to make any money.

Never saw that. Pretty cool. Here's another different approach.

Free saw dust with each tree removal.

I've seen bigger faster forestry mowers. There is a LOT of expensive forestry equipment available. Plenty of stuff with million dollar plus price tags.

Definatley a time and money saver if you can justify the cost and have non stop tree work.

The problem with just like anything tree work is seasonal in my area there is no tree work done in the winter. And that guy has to be doing some serious residental and commercial accounts to justify that price and you would need a tractor trailer to hall the thing. But it is cool to watch it

that's odd. winter is prime time tree cutting season here for firewood. they cut down all year long here. i would hate to have to do tree work in the summer when it's 100F +....that would suck big time.

I would sure love to be busy enough to justify either of those pieces of equipment. Maybe someday...
