Am looking to install Donaldson filter minders on our equipment so we are changing filter(s) when they need it, not just adhering to a scheduled hourly maintenance.

Do you use a filter minder? Which one?

    Thanks for the help.

No because all of my machines are on a routine PM schedule - even my tractor.
What I found out was the filter minder was alright for my old diesel truck yet for the other machines it did not reflect the actual filter condition accurately enough.

Yep! At one point instructions from one OEM was to not even install them even though they were packed in the shipping crate with the ZTR. By the time they tripped, the filter was clogged solid. A water tube manometer is fine, but those only work in stationary service.

There's one on my Chevy 8.1 which has never tripped, but the filter still gets changed.
