Donaldson hydraulic filter for Scag?

I am looking for an aftermarket hydraulic filter for a Scag turf tiger. The 10 micron Scag filter (48758) appears to be identical to a Donaldson P551551 which is also nominal 10 micron. Does anyone have experience using one of these as a replacement.

The nearest Scag dealer is 100km away, so buying genuine is inconvenient. Cost is not a big issue as you don’t use a lot of them, and I don’t mind buying the original if there is a difference, but I don’t think there is.

I am also thinking of using Mobil 1 - 15w 50 instead of the standard 20w 50 mineral oil.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
