I would buy something like 50 studebaker or redone 5 window chev with a straight six . 3/4 ton . HELL WITH GAS MILEAGE . Good advertisement and coversation piece .Its kind nice to chew the fat and not have BMs ,hemroids and cost of prescriptions come up . mabe a c1500W/T,a.k.a. heavy half work truckw/ 4.3 L. A big chev./GMC dealer with fleet sales can probly round up one for you .

Put a add in the biggest paper near you and tell em exactly what you want .Let them come to you . Or a guy can call a salesman at a large dealer and put a bug in his ear . In the mean time keep a eye on estate and business auctions . 6 banger pick ups are probably a hot item .do a local search on line and give em a ridiculously low offer and dont forget to leave your ph. number.Large dealerships some times take in strip model fleet trucks ,right before they ship em to the auction . A guy does have to watch the budget.Ray Charles could have seen this financial mess coming down the pike .
