I get a call tonight from a definite new client wants his business and home done. He told that the company he had been doing business with he asked them abought a tree I do, and have been doing as long as it has been lit, they told him it was their project.

Not sure what I should think or feel about that, aggravated, annoyed flattered or a combination. Little old me is creating a presence enough hat an established event planner has to lay claim to my work.

Just really dont know what to think of it.

Call them up anonymously and ask, then take it from there. Recently I've had people take pics of my work and use them in their own advertising. New Yorkers..... Where are you at?

It's part of the game. I've found pics of my work on others websites before... I've even caught a company using my logo.
It's all about where you want to focus your time. You can chase down guys...etc. Or you can put all your energy into getting more clients and doing great work. The latter pays better.

I am not going to bother chasing them, not worth it. I figure when people find out the truth, especially when you can back it up, thats more than enough. At first I was annoyed, especially since this company does alot of high end events, wedding retirements etc. then I suddenly became flattered. I guess all the effort I put into projects for presentation, detail etc, not only does it mean something to me and my clients, but apparently I have managed to gain the attention of others as well.
