Listen boys bout this double blade thing.
Lets not tell nobody else about it huh.least in carolina
Dont mean to be selfish but most o these
    guys got youth on me.LOL:d
Learning this is going to be fun,it really does
look like it has great promise.
Kinda makes me wish i had more motor though,as it
did pull the engine at fastest speed.I may be able to
correct this with a different bld. combination.
I started w high lift on top, gators on the bottom.
Mabe standard on top and gators on bottom any ideas welcome.DANG THAT WAS FUN.:D
as you can see my first effort at smilin crashed

AWM - I've been using double Gators (standard) for mulching leaves all fall and I plan to leave it like it is for the spring. The two Gators seem to create plenty of suction for me and they sure chew things up.

i have ask lco if they have heard of dbls .
where i used to get blades they all thought i was crasy.
well the lco could have better looking lawns and the dealer could sell more blades, who's crasy now.

JBR, I have use double blades for the past 13 seasons, so I think it is pretty much field tested by now. There is nothing to it, instead of putting one one blade per spindle, you put on two. Try using what blades you have now. Put an old worn out blade on top if you don't have two good sets. Try different combinations to see what works best for you.

I think low lift bottoms, gators on top
decreased the drag.Imowed at 2 inches
so I could put as much drag as I could on.
At top speed didnt hear the engine struggle any.
    So another problem solved.
    Now somthing different.
For those who are leary of stress on the spindles
My opinion is it seems to give more balance
less vibration. The only thing I can figure is
if youve played jacks you know that a jack
has four sides.A two sided jack dont spin so good.
Also it seems to me im picking up a gyroscope
effect as with four sides you create something
like three motorized GYROSCOPES which should have a stabelising affect.Might not be anything to this but
these are my first observations.Nows the time to give
credit,so Eric my hats off to you. thanks

I found the regular blade on bottom and gator on top works the best. Everyone will need to see what works best for them, but I found the gators on bottom seemed to make more drag.
