i an seriously looking at the quick 36 samurai next year and it would be used on some hills but my question is that when doing a hill with it will it kind of take off like a 21'' mower will or does it have some type of governor thing that keeps it at the same pace.

    thanks in advance.

I'm not to familiar w/Samurai mowers (although they seem to be the talk lately, which is peaking my interest) but I would have to ask is it belt or Hydraulic drive? If it's belt, it will probably take off on you and you'll be white knucklin' the brakes, if it's Hyd. the motor may speed up a bit going down hill, but they won't free wheel like a belt drive.

The QUICK 36 is a single hydro unit. With that being said id have to imagine its governed some how.
