I've installed a new lawn on what used to be a hay field. We round-up'ed but with the hot dry weather the alfalfa is now outgrowing the grass. Want to spray for it but don't want to kill new grass growth. Will drive do this or if not any suggestions?

Drive 75 is not labeled for alfalfa. On top of that it is very expensive. It is an excellent crabgrass control when used at the proper time and mixed with a non-ionic sticker.

Millennium Ultra is my poison of choice for alfalfa and a whole bunch of other weeds. I mix at 1 oz per gallon and apply at about 3/4 gal per 1000 sq ft.

Much cheaper, easier to apply and very effective in my operation. Good Luck.
