For 220 sq.ft. of asphalt at 2 inches how large of a container would be needed?
Here is a quick way to figure out how much material you will have removed. Go to a companies website that sells mulch and they usually have mulch calculators on there.
Punch in your information; length, width and thickness. This should give you the yards of material that will be removed. Then order the container that suits your needs.
Here is a link to a website for you to use.
Hopefully this helps you.
P.S. If it is close to the size of the container get the next size up. You may remove more material that you think, or it may be thicker in some places.
You have to factor in expansion as well. You won't fill a bin as tightly as you think.
That will fit in a 6x10 dump trailer with 24" sides.
Correction 2200 sq.ft not 220.
10 - 6 x10 dump trailers w/24" sides.
Around here they won't give you 30 yarders for rip outs. Too heavy if you fill it. 2 - 20s should do it.
thats a good one
All seriousness just rent a triaxle dump and have it gone in one and a half, maybe two loads max.
Im curious, you're asking about how calculations for removing asphalt.
Scarey, cause that makes me wonder how you calculate your mulching???
