It's a bit dry now, pretty common for summer, though it is on the cool side.

After this past winter and the 12 inches or rains we had for 4 weeks from Memorial Day. We are not under enforced restrictions. Not that any restrictions we have on the books realy means anything :)
1 nice rain saturday, 1st in 3-4 weeks. 90s and turf is burning.

Same here
11:30 pm, 80 degrees, 90% humidity,
= 89 degrees 'real feel' temp.
Only rain in quite a while have been thunder showers one time this past week, and that only hit parts of town.
If they're not watering, it's getting crispy and yellow/brown. Sounds like cheese toast doesn't it?
We just started getting some good rain. It was pretty dry and getting crispy for quite a while, then rained for 8 days in a row. I hear thunder outside now, so a little more on the way.

I have to say, this has been the coolest spring/summer I can remember for a long time here.

We haven't lost the wonderful humidity here.
If only we had a few cooler days here in NE it would help.
Usely after noon we stop to cool down inside the house for a while - only to find Thursday our aircon packed up on us. Replacement parts will be installed Teusday. This Sunday was spend in the malls and shops where it is cooler.
Rains all the time in Western Wa. It hasn't rained sinced April.
We haven't had rain in the Okanagan for 5 weeks at least. Its extremely dry, and temps are gonna be near or above 100 all week. Not looking forward to it. We usually try quit at 4 at the latest its just too hot.:( Plus the 2 cycle equipment doesn't seem to run well in the extreme heat either. A few days of rain could do us good here, and also bring down the forest fire rating.
Rain rain go away, come again some other day!
It's been raining here since about 6 oclock this morning, hard, then light, then hard again.... no mowing today or tomorrow it looks like...
No rain here in the Northeast. Non irrigated lawns are pretty much dorment now and irrigated lawns have had the growth slow down. It is kind of nice to slow down a bit as the Spring was the busiest I have had in 4 years.
