Good tip!
Been waiting for a few more parts ordered. It actually took a bit of time to figure out how to mount the double nozzle bodies and build the body mounts to get full, even coverage. One of the new Delevan pumps went out and had to get a replacement. Not sure what happened. We are in the final stages though. Almost completed. The main shaft on the mill my asst runs broke. It was manufactured in 1920 so no replacement. He had to make another 16 inch shaft from scratch. That killed two days. The mill was used on the nozzle body mounts so that there would always be a little adjustment available for coverage depending on nozzle selection. I have plumbed and finished all of the hosing to the nozzle bodies from the solenoids. There is well over 100ft of hose fished around on this machine. As of now, there will only be a manual gate control used until the electronic control is fabricated and tested. This has to start doing apps very soon.Any updates?
Hadn't really seen anything that would work. The boom is 1 3/4 tubing and the twin nozzle bodies needed to be lined up front to back. Why couldn’t you use manufactured nozzle body mounts?
Ran the booms today with the new configuration. Nice curtain. Controller mounted at the top. Don't care for the expensive on/off/momentary switches. Should have bought the Carlyle's. Might spend more and replace. View attachment 538117
Yes, or possible a hybrid program of liquid micro and organic compounds and spoon feeding granular nitrogen. Are you planning on tailoring your turf program towards a mainly liquid application?
It is a pleasure to drive. Great visibility and power! The Gurugreen is coming along nicely!
Does that match the spreader width? It's producing a 12 foot spray curtain.
I'll match it up with the potentiometer on the spreader motor.Does that match the spreader width?
