I have a 7 x10 dump trailer that takes for ever to go down, it is not power down gravity takes it down. There is only on hydro line that runs from the pump to the piston which is a bit odd, i have never see that before any ideas on how to speed up the going down part.

I'd try and actually fix it first, I'm not that familier with these, but I assume that it has a tank which it pumps fluid out of to fill the cylinder, and a solenoid valve that opens to allow fluid to flow back into the tank. I'm guessing that solenoid has an issue.

but I see no reason why you couldn't install a T with a ball valve going back to the tank. It would definitely be a bit dangerous, but work.
