I was wondering if anybody knew what the going rates in Rhode Island or nearby Mass are for 10 wheel dumps. I currently charge $55.00 per hour. Thank You in advance.

Most guys charge $65.00 an hour whether it's on the road or not. I'm in a high margin area, I'd say we could get $75.00 an hour out here for a dump easily.

At $55 an hour you are going broke and don't even know it yet.....by the time you find out you're broke ( not just flat, but in the hole with a huge fuel bill and repair bill you can't pay) it will be too late.......unless you got your 10 wheeler in excellent mechanical condition and paid only $4-5 grand for it.

I am in attleboro MA and we get 65 an hour for ours. Just went up from 60 cuz of the fuel prices.

Our rate for a 57,540 gvw tandem that hauls 15 ton is 79.00 per hour with the price of fuel that rate will get higher. I get 50 dollars per hour for my 1.5 ton truck the price of our diesel fuel here is 3.33 US dollars per US gallon.

In summer time we expect it to get up to 3.71 per gallon it may even climb higher so we just charge the customer more. At worst case it may get up to 3.88 per gallon.

Fuel prices are going up, but when it really gets down to it, people are still wanting jobs done so just charge extra for the fuel increases.

around chicago semi dumps are getting 65 an hour, and has been stated, they are going broke and dont know it. its all guys right off the boat, brokers get them set up with shaky equipment. the broker still gets 10%. the guys think..."wow...in old country we make 65 a WEEK!" so now they're out on the expressway with bald tires and bad brakes.
