Dump Truck with Gooseneck Hitch

    Generally the hoist is mounted backwards, leaving room for the ball to be mounted 4" ahead of the axle. Make sure your goose neck is long enough to clear the corners and sides that you might have. If you are having a bed made, 11' works great.

    I ordered a Henderson dump box with telescopic lift and it will have a trap door to access my gooseneck. I will send pictures when it gets fitted.

    I haven't seen a steel dump bed with a GN hitch, but then again I haven't been looking either since I prefer an aluminum body for corrosion resistance. Below is a link to help you out. Scroll down the page and look closely at the Ford Dump/Flatbed. You should be able to see the trap door and the GN ball just visible behind the hoist pivot pin.
