E-85 fuel

    I was told by my local lesco dealer that Kawaski engines will take E-85 gasoline ... I have no reason not to believe him .... has anyone else heard this??

    check with the manufacturer before doing anything.

    I think the E-85 can have a huge impact on the hoses and other rubber parts of the engine.

    Here is St. Louis I know we have a retrofit for some fuel lines b/c the 10% ethanol that we use makes the rubber fuel line stretch and they fall off.

    Moral: Check with manufacturer

    I would absolutely check with Kawasaki first. Running E-85 is basically running straight alcohol and you're not supposed to use fuels with more than 10% alcohol by volume in these small engines. Another thing is alcohol isn't exactly the best smelling when it burns.
