This is what I have been fighting before this showed its face. Its been dry and the issues have been in areas that do not stay wet.

So a mushroom walks into a bar and the owner says get out we don’t serve your kind. Mushroom says what’s the matter, why can’t I have a drink, I’m a fun gi . Moral of the story is my jokes aren’t funny neither is that much fungi in a lawn.

what’s your watering schedule?
Looks like cottonwood fluff to me. Stuffs Fallin heavy in indiana this week

We have had very little rain
Few inches first week of april
Then because of water restrictions I watered thursday and sunday 430 am - 7am aprox 350 gal each day. Even then my ground was dry. We had 2.5” again may 20th so not a lot of rain or water. Its also been very mild and the nights a pretty cold.
The odd thing is the fungus seems to be out breaking in the driest full sun area.

i had a fungus issue last year but not until july when it was 80’+ and 90% Humidity for days on end
Bump up the start time to 7 am and hit that lawn with a fungicide. Grass blades are sitting wet for To long imo. I only water my lawn once a week in summer if needed for an hour per zone. No fungus and it stays green.
Almost looks like pythium, but that can't be yet.

I can't remember which fungus does well in cool, dry weather. I know there's one but I can't think of it.

Water restrictions have me stuck to two days a week I do not have an irrigation system. I’m just using IMPAC sprinklers for the larger areas and I’ve made up small three and four head movable above ground set up for the smaller areas around the house. So my normal routine is to get up around four 430 set up the rotary impact sprinkler which covers approximately a 30 foot radius at the end of the hose. I get 5 gallons a minute so because of time constraints I will water that area for one hour. Then I move the sprinkler to the next largest section and water for one hour, the areas that I use the above ground sprinkler head system put out more water than the impact sprinkler so I don’t have to run them quite as long by the time I’m finished Thursday morning I’m running off to work. I repeat the process on Sundays if needed on April 20 we had 2 1/2 inches of rain. The area where I have the most fungus outbreak is actually the driest in my yard. I went probing into the soil and it’s already pretty dry already this morning. I am not going to water. I’m hoping we get a quarter or half inch of rain that might come through tonight. Other than that we’re looking at another week plus with no rain , here’s some actual pictures that I took this morning as I was running out the door I’m trying not to walk all over it to spread it like I said it seems isolated. I’m hoping it’s just attacking weaker strains of grass in my yard.

I have a plied eagle 20 EW 2 ounces per thousand square feet mixed with 2 gallons of water on about a third of my yard so far I’m going to tempt to get the rest done today after work.

Where are you and what has your weather been...other than dry?
A lot of those pictures aren’t fungus, looks like mites or lawn spiders, unless your about to get a ton of dollar spot but it’s to early for that in my area.
Definitely not spiders, went through same problem last season but late july. Grass got brown and greasy looking, i lost a good amount of grass.

1st week of april we had 3” of rain
Then we went rainless until May 20th In between I put down no less than 1/2” a week and no more than 1”
Every thursday and sunday morning.
Its been cool days and colder nights.

Striped smut
Walkon makes a good point--resembles spider webs.
But also, I think I see dry spots. Can you check the soil with a screwdriver--push it 6 inches deep?
Is the grass green in the shade spots?
Is this ryegrass?
Dollarspot is very common. The best new seed types will show some resistance to dollarspot.
What part of Texas?
