I have basically the same unit the pb403, and It's the worst blower I have ever operated.

No power what so ever, barely starts, throttle gets stuck on frequently.

I bough a redmax, and Night and day difference.

See if you can get a better model (higher numbers) through home depot.

I have used the 413. I liked it. Plenty of power. Lightweight.

I just purchased the PB-413 this week to replace an aging 5 year old JD BP-40 unit. The dealer price was $299, the unit starts with just a couple of pulls and it performs well without the additional 6 pounds of the 755 unit. I don't need to push around bricks or large piles of debris so this unit fits my needs well. Good anti-vide system with the best warranty I've seen. Save your gift card for other items...buy from a dealer.

I have (2) of them new this spring from the dealer.
They have served me well in my start up year.
Plenty of power for my needs currently but I'm sure I'll get a big daddy @ some point.
