Has anyone had any experience with this model. I had my Stihl 420 ripped off a few weeks ago, and I am desperate, but hoping not to shell out $400-$500 for a new blower this year if possible.

the small echo 260L is an okay unit for just blowing off driveways and walks after mowing, but for leaf season, its WAY underpowered. not sure what yoru situation is, but if I were you, save for a real one.

For 500 bucks there are some blowers out there within the 56-62 cc range. I believe Redmax/shindaiwa and of course Stihl. The top of line echo blower costs about 600 around where I live. the one your thinking about is a homeowner blower I believe. go to echo .com and look up there cfm numbers and call some local dealers and ask about pricing. I use Stihl 420. :cool2:
