Just ordered the new echo backpack blower. Do you guys think that the 500 is big enough for small leaf jobs and mainly grass blowing off concrete?

It is plenty for that type of stuff. The specs are very similar to my BR380, and it has more than enough performance for all but the worst of conditions or very heavy leaf piles.

PB500-T is my main blower, some guys might tell you its way too small. Its not. As long as its not raining it'll blow pretty much anything.

I ran one for a year.... If you want to save time get a bigger blower.... I wouldn't go back to one... I run a Echo 770 and Sthil 600.... If I'm gonna have a blower on my back its needs to have some power... My next blower will be a big Husky prob

Take it from somebody that didn't listen and didn't wanna spend the money on a large blower. After doing about 6 leaf cleanups I bought the 580bts and the 500 has sat ever since, even just blowing lawns and concrete. The time you'll save with the larger blower, it will pay for itself in a day.

i own both the 500 and 770 and only use the 500 when we need two blowers. the amount of time i save just on regular service such as mowing and even small cleanup stuff has made it pay for itself everyday vs the 500. if you were just strictly blowing clipping of the concrete it would work but then again so would the handle blowers. always buy bigger and grow into it then buy something that you could outgrow quickly
