Economy slow. are mower prices down?

    I would gave thought there would be a few deals on new mowers in this economy. Not the case in Michigan. We are still being gouged compared to other states.

    Them kind of companies won't budge, unfortunately they have no reason to.
    Now you might can find a good deal on some used ones...

    THings are off for every manufacture and dealer. Late summer and fall will be the time to buy a mower, dealers will have to move the inventory.

    dealers are probably not going to move much on price if it's not on the floor. Between price increases from the manufacturer, and the out of control freight costs, some dealerships are actually charging freight to order a mower in because they can no longer absorb the costs....

    You usually can can get deals in the fall on in stock models, even if their not tagged on sale.

    I would say right now is the best time to get the best price. Most manufacturers have just had price increases or they are about to. So I would try and find the older inventory at the old prices!
    Price increases have been 4-7%!
