Anyone have a preference as to what edger blade to put on edger if you are buying aftermarket? Are there differences?

I prefer the heat treated. They cost about 25% more but last about 50% longer. I buy mine in bulk (50 at a time).

I like the 4 cornered ones, but they sell for 5-6 bux each but work well. I can get by with just 1 a year so the cost isnt an issue

How many accounts do you have? We use up 2 of the hardened ones per week per crew. The non heat-treated ones were only lasting a day (about 25 lawns).

I usually on use the edger maybe 4 times a year per account so maybe 150 times a year. I have an edgit that I maintain the edge with in between times.
