They Are Adding Light Poles For The Parking Lot...
Do you not use funny pipe? That head is directly attached to the pvc so i see....
We also just gone done trimming about 150 trees for an HOA last week and I snapped some pictures of what some hack-mowing crew did to another residents trees...
This homeowner might as well just cut them done.
Funny pipe, whats that?
Not a good idea with the soil around here. That head would move all over the place.
We do on say a 12" popup where the lateral line is only 6" deep, I'll use (2) 45*s and angle the funny pipe down there to get to the inlet, but not on a 4" popup.
In high traffic areas like a alleyway or whatnot, I will use a swing joint though.
Hey, we're missing shoes in the otherwise great pix!
Oh, do you mean the actual head to the elbow? Was that what you were referring to? Like attaching the head to a male threaded elbow? Its a female threaded elbow, and the head is attached the a poly nipple. Hopefully that helps to clarify.
I see swing joints still haven't made their way into Texas.
The local supply house says all the news guys are using them. But the people that have been in the industry for a long time still use poly nipples. Not that I have been in the industry for a long time, but I learned from one of the first.
