Elephant seals on Cali coast

    Went to the coast for a few days and was lucky enough to get to view these seals on the beach. there was an adult and a young male and two younger little ones.

    Yeah they look dead but are very much alive.

    They throw sand on themelves to keep cool.

    are they elephant seals or sea lions? where on the coast?

    Elephant seals on the coast just past Cambria on the way up north towards Big Sir.
    Well Gamba..I was not going to bring the resemblance up but it did cross my mind.................
