Does anyone have a pair of these headsets? I do and I must say they are JUNK !! I 've had them since the start of the season and at first they were ok, then they got worse and worse. They won't hold any kinda of station. then the left speaker went out all the time now they barely work at all. Whats the deal? I got them new as a gift and i tossed away the paperwork, smart move. I think they go about 100 bucks. Save your hard earned money boys JUNK!

I've used them for over a year, and I love them! I sometimes have a problem holding a station, especially when the battery is starting to wear down, but it usually just takes a bit of fine tuning. Haven't had any problem with one side or the other going out (you DID check the balance control, right?), but, unfortunatly, last week, the headband snapped in half. I tried duct-taping it, but it just doesn't hold tight on my ears. I've been meaning to call Elvex, and see if I can buy a replacement headband. Sure hope so... That's my only complaint.

Get some Peltor Work Tunes. I've had mine for almost a year and a half w/ zero problems. Only thing I've had to do is buy a few AA batteries. I can't stand running any power equipment without them. A friend of mine had a set of the Elvex rechargeables and they crapped out in less than a year.

Biggest problem with BOTH Peltor and Elvex is they won't hold a station. The knobs are WAY too easy to bump and sometimes they even vibrate off channel. Was thinking of GLUEING it to my favorite channel!

That, and the ear cups eventually get stiff and don't conform to hats and glasses as well, thus letting sound leak through.
