Employees in PA

    My brother and I are probably going to add one or two employees this season. What sort of things do we need to take care of? I talked to our tax man and he will help us with taxes and such. Will we need some kind of employee liability insurance?

    We are totally new to having employees and know very little about what exactly we need to do. Anyone from PA have any advice?

    We added an employee last year (another this year) and you have to get workmans comp. We had to buy it thru the state and it is a little pricey. As far as the taxes we hired a payroll service. Best move you can make. They do all the taxes and file the quarterly reports/returns. I believe thats it. Oh yeah I almost forgot finding someone dependable. Matt

    Oh I know! lol. The taxes and workers comp is gonna be the easy part!
